The Council is a registered charity and is responsible for approximately five acres of land within the village
Currently a pavilion stands on the playing field. The pavilion has seen far better days and fund raising [in excess of £40,000 raised to date] takes place in a variety of ways. Watch out for the next event in Rattlesden Revelations.
A childrens play area is also provided for the use of under 14s, very popular in the summer months. The playing field is used for both football and cricket and we are delighted that the village now has an under 8 football team. The council exists to provide facilities for the village and we hope that the village will continue to support us.
