Grant Received from Clydesdale Bank

Mark van der Ree (Chairman) is pleased to announce that we have received a 2nd grant of £500 from the Clydesdale Bank Staff Volunteer Grant Programme.

Business Case in School, Shop & Pubs

A paper copy of the business case that RCC have developed to aid fund raising is now available locally.

The school, the community shop and both pubs – The Brewers Arms and The Five Bells – have a folder for everyone to view.

Maintenance work at the playing field

The community council members spent the morning doing essential maintenance on the pavilion and the playing field. The drains and ditches at the entrance to the car park were cleared to prevent further flooding and the roof in the women’s toilets was shored up again.

Our first successful grant award

Our first successful response to an application came today from The Corporate Regeneration Fund. The award is for £10,000 for assist in the development of a new pavilion.
